The EPA by Law Requires
Lead Based Paint Certification.
On or after April 22, 2010, firms working in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities must be certified and use lead-safe work practices during renovations ( All trades disturbing lead based paint). On March 19, 2010 I completed the EPA's Occupational training and certified myself (Brian Threadgill) as a certified renovator, and Threadgill's Painting & Restoration, INC. as a certified firm. This certification is good for 5 years.
